About us
Keeping It Live! was conceived as an event company producing national showcases for the light entertainment industry.
With no independent showcases scheduled in early 2008 we felt that there was a demand amongst the agents, managements, bookers and acts for an event of this kind and to this end produced our inaugural showcase in The Horseshoe, Blackpool Pleasure Beach in February 2008. The whole project was put together in the space of seven weeks and we were tremendously pleased with the end result with an extremely high standard of acts appearing and an overwhelming level of support from the industry in terms of audience numbers.
On the back of the success of Keeping it Live! in Blackpool we are producing two showcases in late 2008 and early 2009.

Marcus Collingbourne and John Hopcroft are the driving force behind Keeping It Live! Marcus was the event organiser of The Stage's Showcall Showcase for 15 years and John was involved in these and other productions for even longer! Both have a wealth of entertainment knowledge and bring that experience to Keeping It Live !
