Keeping it Live! reviews - Blackpool 09

Well once again what an absolutely fun packed and relaxed showcase.

Both Marcus and John have really got the whole thing sorted and with their total dedication and professionalism this show will go forever.

Steve Walls was again on top form with his little innuendos and he once again showed he is a lovely guy who works his magic back stage to keep everyone calm, cool and collected and it is no wonder that Steve is a very sought after act.

The Keeping It Live! Band under the musical direction of Mickey Watson are the best bunch of musos I have ever seen and had the privilege to work with. The stage crew where again fabulous and kept the whole show running like a tight ship. The lighting and sound crew where once again fabulous as was the Moonstone Videos. Trevor Buffery who normally comes to do the shoot was away on holiday but he sent Lynne and Mark who worked their magic for the acts. Thanks again goes to the Agents Association who braved the cold of the foyer along with Martin from Mainline Computers and the meet and greet artists.

We had some great meet and greats but I was saddened that our singing and keyboard playing nun ran his three wheeler down a grid on the sea front and broke his axle!

Well done to Marade of Broadwater Entertainmentsfor winning this years title of Drinker Of The Showcase - how this woman manages to stay up till five in the morning and still look fine in the morning beggars belief.

Thank you to ALL the agents that take the time out to come along and support their own acts as well as others, we all know that taking three days away from your offices is hard work but I am sure that the get together can only continue to ensure good working relationships between you all.

I have once again been very privileged to have been able to write the reviews and meet some wonderful people. Thank you once again.
