Borderline

Borderline are a five piece Party band hailing from the Black Country deep in the heart of the West Midlands. Established in 1996, Borderline brought together five already accomplished musicians with the aim of creating one of the best party bands in the UK.

Borderline combine top quality musicianship with an unforgettable visual show to provide an experience to remember.

Completely self contained, Borderline's full range PA and lighting system provides all they need to perform in any venue, large or small.

The Borderline show's key element is fun, fun and more fun as frenetic front man Ivan McGarry delivers classic songs from the 50's to present day, from the Blue Brothers to Robbie Williams, while costume changes and audio clips help set the scene.

One can't talk about Borderline without mentioning Tina Turnoff. She's been with the band for as long as they can remember and been terrorising audiences just as long. Tina's a Virgo (as long as you don't count that knee trembler behind the Big Dipper in 1998) and as such, is a very forward and tactile person. She often takes the opportunity when performing to get 'up close and personal' with her audience, sometimes too close but, in the words of Kenny Everett, it's all done "in the best possible taste".

More than 12 years experience of entertaining literally thousands of people in hundreds of venues has given Borderline the knowledge and flexibility to perform at any type of event from a corporate dinner/dance in a swanky hotel to a fortieth birthday party down at the Dog and Duck, they can do them all.
